As well as covering all the specific little details one needs to pass, he taught him a lot of excellent driving techniques to make him a safer and better driver now that he's independent. Courtenay is passionate about driver education and is able to engage and communicate with teenagers effectively.

I was able to join them for my son's first lesson, during which Courtenay gave me lots of helpful advice about instructing a learner. This set a great example for all our following practice drives. I always felt confident that my son was being taught well and was in good hands. I am very thankful to Courtenay for teaching him in such a concise and friendly way. Kym

I had not driven since living in the UK in 2017 and was nervous and unsure on how to start driving again. Courtenay is always professional, calm and able to explain exactly what I need to do. Throughout our lessons Courtenay taught me real life skills that I still use to this day and made sure I was a confident and safe driver. Courtenay’s knowledge is amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is unsure of starting driving again or is a complete newbie. Thank you so much Courtenay!

Excellent value for money and his education is unmatched. When I begun learning with him I had not driven in over 5 years and never attempted the P's driving test, not only was he able to teach me the correct and safe methods whilst driving but also helped eleviate the anxiety I had getting behind the wheel. He's a local expert and know's all relevant routes to take, his equipment is super modern and he has a resource list of relevant situations you can study on for your test. I would not have gotten my P's if it wasn't for his support and mentorship.

I’ve been driving for many yrs so I thought I’d volunteer as a driving mentor in the L2P program which helps targeted young people qualify as licensed P-Plate drivers. To further my own ‘learner driving awareness’ I spent time with Courtney to learn how a professional driving instructor goes about teaching new drivers. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience because Courtney has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Victorian road rules, is an excellent teacher/coach, is a great communicator in the way he imparts information and is clearly passionate about helping young drivers become the best they can be. If anyone was looking for a professional driving instructor, I don’t believe you would find a better one anywhere than Courtney. John Macdonald, November 2025
