I thought it was fantastic for the most part. As someone who works with road trauma victims, I do love the attempt to get to zero deaths on our roads.
It was great to see how the experience makes people aware of how vulnerable we are as human beings – hence the “Meet Graham” section!
The Road to Zero Experience helped me understand that Graham is who we would need to be to survive a car crash. Find out more: https://www.meetgraham.com.au/
There were of course some parts to the experience that I had to question – apparently German Autobahns have a higher injury rate than Victorian Freeways! 🤔
My knowledge on this is limited, so I’m putting it to the community – do you believe this is true? If so, what proof do you have? 🔍 Email crudedriving@gmail.com
While I was impressed by most of this experience, it still doesn’t take away from the fact that zero deaths is not possible without changing the practical driver education and licencing space further.
I highly recommend everyone in Melbourne goes to this exhibition regardless of how you feel about it – because the message is clear, we need to do more as a society of road users to protect each other…
Bravo TAC! 👏🏾 More needs to be done! 🙏🏾
Thanks for reading this blog post! 🙂
