The CFA (Country Fire Authority) joined the RYDA Road Safety program this week!
This week we were fortunate to have the Lilydale CFA (Country Fire Authority) join us for the RYDA Road Safety program at Box Hill Institute!
Thanks to Steve from the CFA for educating students on the dangers of driving a heavy vehicle, explaining that he needs to leave double the amount of following time (safe distance) compared to light vehicles.
Students were given the opportunity to jump in the fire truck and turn on the sirens if they remembered what Steve educated them on.
